Her husband is Regis Slutter, who is a partner at Burns Doane Swecker & Mathis LLP, Intellectual Property Law.

Isn't that precious that he deals in "intellectual property law" and his wife just happens to work for the General Counsel at the Patent Office.

I wonder if Burns Doane Swecker & Mathis LLP ever got favored treatment from the Patent Office based on their having a partner whose wife just happens to be part of the Patent Office's General Counsel's staff.
